WHAT ARE ADDITIONAL PAGES/LAYERS? Sometimes 3 - 5 pages just aren’t enough. For those clients who need more detail or have too much content to fit in a standard format, additional pages or layers are available for a nominal fee. The difference between layers and pages is simple. Pages are self explanatory, additional pages are reached from the site’s navigation bar and generally contain all of the same information found throughout the rest of the site, like headers and logos with additional content or products. Layers on the other hand have a “fly-out” or “fade in” effect, where the additional content simply “appears” on top of the page that they are associated with, which often makes them ideal for keeping a site simple and easier for the visitor to navigate. To be even more specific, the page you clicked on from the navigation bar to get to this page is an example of a page. The information you are reading now is on a layer.

WHAT IS A MINOR CONTENT UPDATE (MCU)? Wetworks4Biz.com provides this service to clients who need to make small tweaks to the content of their site. Minor Content Updates (MCUs) allow you to keep your site current without having to incur additional expenses. MCUs are intended for small changes to content and can not be used for drastic changes such as changes to a site’s color scheme or an entire site’s layout and /or content. For changes such as these, we recommend the Recurring Site Change packages. Review those products’ descriptions on this page for more information.

WHAT IS A 20 HOUR CONTENT UPDATE PACKAGE? Wetworks4Biz.com provides this service to clients who make frequent changes to their site’s content, such as products that change frequently or text that is modified on a regular basis. The 20 hour Content Update Package allows for an unlimited number of changes to be made to your site up to 20 hours per month. As the client, you should consider this option over individual Minor Content Updates (MCUs) if you are planing on making more than five (5) changes per month, as it will save you roughly 20% off of the MCU price. In the event your needs exceed the MCU price, your Wetworks4Biz.com representative will contact you and inform you of the situation, and automatically update your account status in order to save you money, and billed accordingly. In the event your requests exceed the 20 hour cap, you will be automatically updated to the 40 hour cap rate and billed accordingly.

WHAT IS A 40 HOUR CONTENT UPDATE PACKAGE? Wetworks4Biz.com provides this service to clients who make frequent changes to their site’s content, such as products that change frequently or text that is modified on a regular basis. Just like the 20 hour Content update package, the 40 hour Content Update Package allows for an unlimited number of changes to be made to your site up to 40 hours per month. As the client, you should consider this option over individual Minor Content Updates (MCUs) & the 20 Hour Content Update Package if you are planing on making more than ten (10) changes per month, or plan on revamping the entire site on a regular basis (monthly, quarterly, etc.) as it will save you roughly 40% off of the MCU price & 25% off of the 20 hour Content Update Package. In order to ensure that all of our clients receive the level of service they both expect and deserve, all clients are capped at 40 hours of service per month, though it is EXTREMELY rare for any client to have a need of more time than this package provides.

WHAT IS A CUSTOM ANIMATION OR SLIDE SHOW? Though coupled together for ease in billing for our clients, these are actually two separate, unrelated products. A custom animation is the act of taking an otherwise static object and turning it into a piece of active content. We recommend this product for clients that frequently have sales on new or old product lines, closeouts, or discontinued models as the animation are EXTREMELY effective at capturing attention of visitors, though they should be used sparingly as many visitors will find them annoying if over done. Animations can be made to cycle through color schemes, make an object rotate or even appear to show up out of no where, and come in one of two standard formats, GIF (universally compatible with every device and operating system, but limited in overall visual quality and animation smoothness) or FLV (Adobe Flash required for viewing, this format is gorgeous and very smooth, but will not render on most mobile devices or any device made by Apple® Computers with the exception of their desktop and laptop products and even then may not be fully compatible)
